The company has promised to release Android updates for these smartphones for the next seven years.
As noted, the Pixel 8 received a 6.2-inch Actua display, which provides better image clarity and is 42% brighter than the Pixel 7 display. Its dimensions are 150.5 × 70.8 × 8.9 mm, while the dimensions of the Pixel 8 Pro – 162.6 × 76.5 × 8.8 mm (screen diagonal 6.7 inches).
On the back of the Pixel 8 is a new temperature sensor that allows you to quickly scan an object and determine its temperature. The company also said that the models are equipped with powerful updated camera systems. In particular, the Pixel 8 Pro received a triple rear camera. The main module is built on a 50 MP sensor with improved image stabilization. The wide-angle module is built on a 48-MP image sensor, and the 48-MP sensor also received a camera with a telephoto lens with a five-fold optical zoom. All three cameras support phase detection autofocus. The Pixel 8 Pro also supports 30x Super-Res digital zoom. The front camera is built on a 10.5-MP sensor and has received support for autofocus.
